Although Denmark is a relatively level country, fine possibilities for practising windglidig do exist. 'Dansk Drageflyver Union' (Dansk Union of Windgliders) provides references to suitable localities. As a rule, the
union has arranged with the local plot owners that a slope or some other suitable place involved may be used. The Danish Hang-gliders' Association has winding facilities at Fasterholt near Brande (Jutland), as well as at Skjoldnæsholm at Kirke Valsø on Sealand. A valid certificate is required as well as proof of third party liability insurance. As equipment cannot be rented in Denmark, be sure to bring your own
equipment.
